Can Claude generate QR codes?

Yes, in the Claude apps with code execution on (the default on Free, Pro and Max). Claude can install a QR library in its sandbox and hand you an image, and Claude Code can do the same on your disk. Without code execution it can only describe one. Connect the Barcode server (free token) and Claude writes QR codes for a link, a WiFi login, a contact card or a euro payment, and keeps a list of every code it made.
