Can Claude track project deliverables?

Partly. Claude can turn a quote or a statement of work into a list of deliverables, and Projects and memory can keep it as notes. What a chat does not keep is a dated status for each one, so lateness has to be worked out by hand each time. Connect the Delivery Schedule server (free token) and Claude opens a schedule against a quote, work order or change order, records when each deliverable starts, is delivered and is accepted, and reports what has slipped with the value at risk.

What Claude does alone, and what needs the server

Claude on its own

  • Turns a quote or brief into a deliverables list.
  • Drafts a status update for the client.

With the Delivery Schedule server

  • A dated status history for every deliverable.
  • What is late as at any date, with value at risk.
  • Accepted work turned into invoice lines (Pro).

A real call to the live server

We sent this to the hosted server on 2026-11-05. The answer below is the server's own text, not a mock-up. Live values will differ when you ask.

You ask

What has slipped on my projects?

Tool call

late_report {"as_of":"2026-11-05"}

Server answer

{"as_of": "2026-11-05", "late_count": 1, "not_yet_due_count": 1, "delivered_on_time_count": 1, "value_at_risk": [{"currency": "USD", "deliverables": 1, "priced": 1, "unpriced": 0, "value_minor": 120000, "value": "USD 1200.00"}], "late": [{"reference": "Q-2026-0014", "client": "Harbor Dental", "deliverable": "D02", "description": "Homepage design", "due_date": "2026-10-30", "status": "in_progress", "days_late": 6, "value": "USD 1200.00"}]}

A schedule with three deliverables was set up against quote Q-2026-0014 first. The wireframes were delivered and accepted, and the homepage design is in progress. The server answers in JSON. This is a shortened copy, and every field shown is unchanged.

You ask

Show the Harbor Dental schedule.

Tool call

delivery_schedule_get {"schedule":"DS-2026-0001","as_of":"2026-11-05"}

Server answer

{"schedule": {"id": "DS-2026-0001", "reference": "Q-2026-0014", "client": "Harbor Dental", "counts": {"deliverables": 3, "planned": 1, "in_progress": 1, "delivered": 0, "accepted": 1, "late": 1, "due_today": 0, "not_yet_due": 1, "delivered_late": 0, "delivered_on_time": 1}, "value": "USD 3000.00", "deliverables": [{"id": "D01", "description": "Sitemap and wireframes", "due_date": "2026-10-15", "status": "accepted", "state": "delivered_on_time", "value": "USD 800.00"}, {"id": "D02", "description": "Homepage design", "due_date": "2026-10-30", "status": "in_progress", "state": "late", "value": "USD 1200.00"}, {"id": "D03", "description": "Launch on live hosting", "due_date": "2026-11-20", "status": "planned", "state": "not_yet_due", "value": "USD 1000.00"}]}}

The schedule is shown with five of its fields and each deliverable with six, unchanged.

Questions

Can Claude track project deliverables?
Partly. Claude can turn a quote or a statement of work into a list of deliverables, and Projects and memory can keep it as notes. What a chat does not keep is a dated status for each one, so lateness has to be worked out by hand each time. Connect the Delivery Schedule server (free token) and Claude opens a schedule against a quote, work order or change order, records when each deliverable starts, is delivered and is accepted, and reports what has slipped with the value at risk.
Which date does it count lateness from?
The as_of date on the call. A report for a past date counts only the status moves dated on or before it, and a deliverable due on that date is not late yet.
What is free, and what does Pro add?
Three open schedules, status changes, the late report and the schedule lookup are free. Pro is $19 once for the Delivery Schedule server, or $39 once for all 49 servers. It adds the plain-text schedule document with a sign-off block for the client, and invoice-ready lines from accepted deliverables.
Is the server free?
The hosted Delivery Schedule server has a free tier. A free token lasts 30 days and allows 600 calls an hour, with no account. Some features are Pro, and the server page lists what is free and what is not.
