Can Claude look up 2026 AP score distributions?

Not the 2026 ones from memory. College Board posts the score distributions each summer after the May exams, and most models were trained before the 2026 release, so Claude may quote an older year without saying so. Connect the free AP Score Distributions server and Claude reads the 2024, 2025 and 2026 figures for each exam, compares exams and estimates a percentile for a score.

What Claude does alone, and what needs the server

Claude on its own

  • Explains how AP scores of 1 to 5 work and what colleges accept.
  • Recalls distributions from years before its training cutoff.

With the AP Score Distributions server

  • The share of 5s, 4s, 3s, 2s and 1s for each exam in 2024, 2025 and 2026.
  • A ranking of exams by pass rate or share of 5s.
  • A percentile estimate for your score, and a score estimate from a practice test.
