What it knows that a model doesn't

A model answers from training data. This server reads the source when you ask.

  • The 2027 brackets for single, married filing jointly, married filing separately and head of household, with the 37 percent bracket starting at $661,375 for single filers and $793,650 for joint filers.
  • The 2027 standard deduction ($16,600 single, $33,200 joint, $24,925 head of household) with the extra amount for age 65 or older or blindness and the dependent rule.
  • Federal income tax on an income under 2027 and 2026 rules, plus the capital gains thresholds, child tax credit, earned income credit and other adjusted amounts.

Sources IRS Revenue Procedure 2026-35 (irs.gov/pub/irs-drop/rp-26-35.pdf) and news release IR-2026-133 of November 5, 2026, with the 2026 figures from Revenue Procedure 2025-32. A dated table in code, and the tests check every number against the IRS text.
