What it knows that a model does not

A model answers from training data. This server reads the source when you ask.

  • The 2025 law made the 2026 exemption $15,000,000 per person instead of letting it fall by about half. Many models still expect the cut.
  • The 2026 annual gift exclusion of $19,000, gift splitting, and the $194,000 limit for gifts to a spouse who is not a US citizen.
  • The 40% rate table and portability of a late spouse's unused exemption. Federal only, and the tool says so.
