What it knows that a model doesn't

A model answers from training data. This server reads the source when you ask.

  • The silver spot price right now, read from a live feed with a timestamp. A model cannot know it.
  • Price per gram for .999, Britannia, sterling 925, coin 900 and 800 silver, in about 160 currencies.
  • Melt value of pre-1965 90% US dimes, quarters and halves from face value.

Sources gold-api.com spot feed, Frankfurter central-bank FX rates, 16 CFR 23.5 and the UK Hallmarking Act 1973 for fineness grades.

get_silver_price_per_gram Get silver price per gram. Today's silver price per gram, per troy ounce, per kilogram and per tola, read live from the silver spot market, for fine .999, Britannia .9584, sterling .925, coin .900 and 800 silver, in any of about 160 currencies (central-bank FX).
calculate_silver_value Calculate silver melt value. Melt value of a silver item (sterling flatware, tea set, jewellery, bar, round, scrap) from its weight, unit and fineness at the live silver spot price, in any currency.
calculate_junk_silver_value Calculate junk silver coin value. Melt value of US silver coins at the live silver spot: pre-1965 90% dimes, quarters and halves, 1965-1970 40% Kennedy halves (4.6 g silver, Coinage Act of 1965), 1942-1945 35% war nickels, Morgan and Peace dollars and American Silver Eagles.
get_gold_silver_ratio Get gold to silver ratio. Live gold to silver ratio (ounces of silver one ounce of gold buys), with both spot prices per troy ounce and per gram in any currency. Read now from the spot feed; the ratio moves every minute.

Is the silver price per gram MCP server free?
Yes. The hosted URL is free and needs no token, key or account. The source is open on GitHub.

A model answers from its training data. That data stops at a cutoff date, and long sums can drift. This server reads its data or rules each time you ask, so the answer is current and exact.
