Example from "A week with overtime". Invented names, real math from the tools. An estimate, not a payroll system. The overtime premium is not taxed in the code.

Give hours, an hourly rate and a flat tax percent, and get gross pay, an estimated tax figure and net pay, with a half-time premium for hours above 40. A second tool adds up a list of hours and rates into one contractor payout total. It's an estimator for small teams, not a payroll system: there are no tax tables and no payslips.

Questions

Does it use real tax tables?
No. You give one flat tax percent (default 22%). The result is an estimate.
How is overtime handled?
Hours above 40 earn a half-time premium. The premium is added to net pay and isn't taxed in the estimate.
Does it make payslips or file taxes?
No. It does the arithmetic only.
